Iranian Medical Device Manufacturers Drive Synergy and Growth at Iran Health Exhibition

June 2, 2025 – The Iran Health Exhibition, scheduled for June 8 to 11, 2025, will highlight the growing synergy and networking among Iranian medical device manufacturers. According to Saeed Shahmoradi, Director General of Medical Equipment at the Ministry of Health, nearly 80% of medical devices used in Iran are now domestically produced, reflecting significant progress supported by dedicated government incentive packages.

Shahmoradi emphasized that Iranian-made medical devices currently surpass many regional competitors in both quality and price, positioning Iran as a leading hub for medical equipment in the region. The majority of healthcare facilities across the country now rely on local products, a trend that continues to strengthen with ongoing strategic planning and collaboration between industry stakeholders.

He noted that the Iran Health Exhibition is a major international platform for medical, dental, laboratory, and pharmaceutical equipment and services, attracting top domestic and international companies. The event provides an exceptional opportunity for participants to showcase their achievements to over 25,000 industry professionals and key stakeholders, while also shaping future innovation and market trends.

Shahmoradi added that ongoing standardization efforts and international cooperation are expected to further enhance Iran’s medical equipment market, with the government aiming to boost both domestic production and dynamic exports through comprehensive support measures.

The Iran Health Exhibition, organized in Tehran, serves as a key venue for Iranian and global companies to engage, network, and explore collaboration opportunities in the medical sector.
