Eighteen Innovative Health Products Unveiled at Iran Health 2025: Major Leap for Knowledge-Based Companies Toward Medical Technology Self-Sufficiency

June 9, 2025 – The opening day of the Iran Health Exhibition 2025 marked the official unveiling of 18 groundbreaking, domestically developed health products by Iranian technology and knowledge-based companies. In a ceremony attended by the Minister of Health and the Vice President for Scientific, Technological and Knowledge-Based Economy Affairs, these innovative products—many of which are being introduced for the first time in Iran—demonstrate significant advances in meeting domestic healthcare needs, reducing reliance on imported technologies, and establishing a foundation for the export of medical technologies.
Spanning a broad range of fields, the new products include advanced laboratory equipment, precision diagnostic tools, specialized consumables, indigenized laboratory kits, novel bioelectric technologies, and non-invasive therapeutic devices. Highlights include a hematology cell counter by Arya Houshmand Azma, newly developed Brucella diagnostic kits from Zist Gostaran Kousha, an advanced HbA1c monitoring device from Pishtaz Teb Zaman, and an ABO/Rh blood typing gel card by Ferdavar Azma Iranian.
Other notable breakthroughs featured a plasma wound therapy device by Plasma Technology Development, immunology luminescence kits by Vista Biotech Behgen, hydroxyapatite-coated polyaxial orthopedic screws by Rayan Novin Teb Reza, and domestically produced hearing aids by Fan Azarakhsh and Arnika Biomedical Systems. In the area of imaging and urology, Parnian Gostar Parto Sanj introduced a holmium laser lithotripter, while Parto Negar Persia presented an upgraded SPECT imaging device.
Innovations in dentistry were presented by Fartak Andisheh Borna, including composite resin kits, anti-sensitivity pastes, and color-changing fissure sealants. The event also showcased an open-heart surgery oxygenator set by Gohar Shafa, adhering to the highest safety and biocompatibility standards.
Exhibition officials announced that many of these products comply with international standards and are already in the process of obtaining export licenses for neighboring and Asian markets. Experts noted that Iran Health 2025 not only highlights the country’s technological capabilities in health but also provides a valuable platform for interaction among knowledge-based elites, industry stakeholders, investors, and policymakers.
