Launch of Indigenized CPAP Respiratory Device at Iran Health Exhibition 2025

June 10, 2025 – Atlasin Company, active in the medical equipment sector, has successfully developed and indigenized a CPAP respiratory device, scheduled for market release this year. According to Sina Alizadeh, R&D expert at Atlasin, the company has leveraged over 36 years of experience in hospital gas systems and respiratory care equipment to achieve this milestone.

Atlasin entered the medical equipment market in 1990 with central hospital oxygen generators and later expanded into sleep therapy devices from leading international brands. Since 2016, the company’s R&D unit has focused on indigenizing medical gas package technologies, including oxygen generators, central vacuum systems, and medical compressed air.

In 2025, Atlasin received the production license for its domestically developed CPAP device, designed and manufactured entirely by local specialists. The company prioritizes product quality, despite ongoing challenges, and expects to launch the device within the next three months.

The CPAP device plays a crucial role in the treatment of sleep apnea, providing essential support for patients with respiratory disorders during sleep. Alizadeh noted that, although the import of foreign CPAP devices began in 2016, Atlasin’s dedicated R&D efforts have now resulted in a fully indigenized product.

Alizadeh also highlighted the importance of the Iran Health Exhibition as a platform for company growth and market expansion, particularly in the current economic climate. This year’s event saw increased participation from both domestic and international visitors, signaling promising prospects for the export-driven development of Iran’s medical equipment sector.
