The First “Life Reinvention” Event Held at Iran Health 2025 – Eight Emerging Technologies for Veterans and People with Disabilities Unveiled

June 10, 2025 – The inaugural “Life Reinvention” event was held on the third day of the Iran Health Exhibition 2025 in the Persian Gulf Hall, aimed at showcasing and advancing emerging technologies for veterans and people with disabilities. Organized by the Iranian Syndicate of Medical Equipment Exporter and Method Company, the event brought together leading researchers, innovators, and industry stakeholders.

In the first session, four assistive technologies for the elderly were presented by research centers and companies, covering topics such as:

  • The future of digital health (Dr. Sudeh Razaghi, Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences),
  • The Integrum Hand System (Dr. Nafiseh Jirfti, Research Laboratory of Bone and Joint, Mashhad University of Medical Sciences),
  • Cognitive technologies for the elderly (Dr. Hojjat Shojaei),
  • Assistive technologies for aging (Engineer Mostafa Allami, Research Institute of Engineering and Medical Sciences for Veterans).

The second session focused on new technologies for empowerment, featuring:

  • Remote health monitoring for veterans (Doramod Company),
  • Rehabilitation robots (Pedasis Company),
  • Smart prosthetics,
  • The future of assistive technologies (Research Institute of Engineering and Medical Sciences).

Participants were introduced to the latest innovations in medical and rehabilitation equipment, exploring novel solutions to improve the quality of life for the target groups.

Dr. Noushin Pourbagheri, Head of the Scientific-Research Committee of the Iranian Syndicate of Medical Equipment Exporter, highlighted that the “Life Reinvention” event serves as a platform for synergy, collaboration, and the development of scientific and practical partnerships in rehabilitation technology. She emphasized that leveraging modern technologies can significantly empower veterans and people with disabilities, greatly enhancing their independence and quality of life.

Javad Minooifar, CEO of Method Company, pointed out ongoing projects in mobility, hearing conditioning, and cognitive technologies, stressing the company’s commitment to identifying and localizing new global technologies for the benefit of the target community. He underlined the importance of supporting domestic products, noting the strong but still under-recognized knowledge-based companies in this sector. Method Company aims to become the national hub for orthopedics, with five centers operating in major cities and plans to establish two more.

The event also addressed the development of health tourism for veterans and people with disabilities, with participants calling for greater adoption of artificial intelligence and digital solutions in rehabilitation.

The Iran Health Exhibition 2025 hosts 580 domestic and international companies in 11 halls, with 45 specialized meetings and side events, including the “Returning Iranians Pavilion,” from June 8 to 11 at Tehran International Exhibition Center.
