Pardis Technology Park

Pardis Innovation District was established in 1380 with the following functions, centered on Pardis Technology Park, under the responsibility of the presidential office and with a cross-departmental approach:
1. Creating a suitable business environment for the activity and professional presence of knowledge-based and innovative companies aiming to maintain elites and attract non-resident Iranian experts and foreign technologists؛
2. Fulfilling the country's complex technology needs and the origin of the formation of technology sources and facilitating the process of its absorption, promotion and dissemination؛
3. To set in motion and manage the flow of knowledge and technology among universities, research and development bodies, private companies and finally "industry" and "market"؛
4. Streamlining and shaping the technology ecosystem, improving business regulations in this field؛
5. The formation of professional activities in the field of market research, idea generation, scientific research, engineering design, prototyping, industrial design, standardization, compilation of technical knowledge, registration of intellectual property, sales and consulting operations for materializing technological products in the field of industrial production, risk-taking (bold) investment. and other specialized services.
The studies for the construction of Pardis Technology Park were carried out on the three proposed areas. According to the climatic and geographical characteristics, the 6th phase of the new city of Pardis was finally selected, 20 kilometers east of Tehran.In 1380, the acquisition of the lands of Pardis innovation (phase 1) was completed and the construction of the park was started, and the acceptance of technology units in the park began in the same year.According to the plan of Pardis city, about 800 hectares of the city's lands have been used for research and education, and this city has been developed as the first specialized city of the Islamic Republic of Iran with the scientific, cultural and technological mission of a scientific and educational city.One of its objectives is to create the necessary infrastructure to achieve the upstream goals and documents, such as the first scientific ranking in the region and providing a complete package to attract and employ the country's elites and specialists.
The in-principle approval for the establishment of Pardis Technology Park was issued by the Council for the Development of Higher Education of the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology in 1382, its statute was also approved in 1384, and the structure of the park was formed independently.
With the approval of the Council of Ministers in 1384 and in the form of the national document for the development of the Iranian provinces, the plan for the development of theoretical and applied research centers with national and transnational functions and technology parks in the province and the transformation of Pardis Technology Park into the functional center of the technology parks of the country, the Middle East and Central Asia was communicated.
The statutes of the growth center were approved by the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology in 1388. Elite Technology Growth Center has also started its activity since 1389.
The vision and long-term goals of Pardis Technology Park were also approved in 1392. The executive operation of the preparation of the knowledge campus (phase 2) with an area covering ​​18 hectares started in 1392. Meanwhile, the park established D-8 Technology Transfer and Exchange Networkand founded the Mustafa (PBUH) Prize.
The in-principle approval for the establishment of Health Technology Park as one of the centers located in Pardis Technology Park and the first Health Technology Park in the country was also issued by the Ministry of Health, Treatment and Medical Education in 1392, and its statutes were approved by the Science Universities Development Council in 1393 of the Ministry of Health, Treatment and Medical Education.
IN 1393, the land acquisition and stabilization of the entrepreneurship campus (phase 3) with an area covering ​​31 hectares was done.
In 1392, the International Technology and Innovation Exhibition (INOTEX) was also organized by Pardis Technology Park and has been held annually until now.
In 1393, Innovation Acceleration Center was established by Park to organize technology accelerators and entrepreneurship events in the country.
Also, in 1397, Azadi Innovation Factory and Highway Innovation Factory were opened in Tehran as park branches and a place for the establishment and activities of startup teams. In 1397, the park had the honor of hosting two anonymous martyrs.
In 1399, a contract was signed to annex 20 new hectares (phase 4) to the park in the vicinity of the Entrepreneurship campus. Also in 1399, the Memorandum of Understanding on the "Strengthening the Technology and Innovation Ecosystem of Tehran Province" with the focus on the eastern province and using the maximum capacities and facilities of the parties to expand the hardware and software of the innovation area was signed between the Vice Presidency for Science and Technology and Tehran Governorate.
Meanwhile, in 1399, the Digital Economy Technology Park in an area covering 30 hectares was annexed to Pardis Technology Park.
Pardis Innovation District, as the most important and largest innovation zone in the country, aims to commercialize the achievements of technologists and create a suitable platform for the growth of technology and market development of knowledge-based companies.
Pardis Innovation District has played an effective role in the advancement of science and technology in Pardis city and Tehran province, so that it is considered the most prominent center for the development of startups and knowledge-based companies and the commercialization of technology and innovations in the country.
