AIMS Club Journal Club Launched: A New Era of Scientific Dialogue in the Medical Equipment Specialists Association

June 9, 2025 – The Medical Equipment Specialists Association has inaugurated the AIMS Club journal club, marking a significant step toward promoting knowledge sharing, research analysis, and academic dialogue within Iran’s medical engineering community.

This new initiative was announced during the provincial associations’ meeting, held in parallel with the Iran Health Exhibition at the Iran House of Innovation. The AIMS Club, organized by the association’s Scientific Committee, aims to bridge the gap between the biomedical engineering sector and academic research through regular scientific meetings focused on critical article reviews and research discussion. Sessions will begin next week and are open to all interested participants, both in-person and online, free of charge.

As part of a broader strategy to strengthen scientific engagement, the Scientific Committee has also established two new working groups: one dedicated to artificial intelligence and cognitive sciences, and another focusing on student and elite engagement to foster stronger ties with the country’s dynamic academic community.

The association has called on each province to formally introduce their scientific representatives to the committee to ensure comprehensive nationwide participation. With renewed committee structures and increased inter-provincial collaboration, the association is set to fully dedicate itself to academic, educational, and research priorities.

Members are encouraged to actively contribute ideas, feedback, and collaboration. Details of upcoming scientific initiatives and programs will be shared soon, as the association continues its commitment to building a vibrant innovation ecosystem in the medical equipment sector.
