Indigenously Developed Ultrasonic Laboratory Homogenizer Unveiled by Knowledge-Based Company

June 9, 2025 – Researchers from the knowledge-based company Faratab Fotros have successfully developed an advanced “Ultrasonic Laboratory Homogenizer” (Sonicator), a versatile device essential for a wide range of sample preparation and processing tasks in laboratories.
The sonicator employs high-intensity ultrasonic waves to transfer mechanical energy to liquids, enabling processes such as cavitation, intensive mixing, and particle size reduction. Key features of this domestically produced device include automatic frequency adjustment, a titanium probe, a soundproof chamber, rapid and efficient processing, precise process control, adjustable power, temperature monitoring, compatibility with various sample volumes, a digital display, and connectivity with computer software.
This model offers digital performance comparable to leading foreign brands, yet at a significantly lower price point. Currently in production, it is suitable for diverse laboratory applications in medicine, materials science, and metallurgy. The device also has industrial applications, particularly in petrochemical and refinery processes, where it can dramatically enhance operational efficiency.
Despite its technological advantages, many industries in the country are still unfamiliar with the benefits of such devices. Wider adoption of this technology could substantially improve productivity across various sectors
