Iran’s Scientific Vice President: Iranian Medical Equipment Now Exported to Over 60 Countries

June 8, 2025 – The Vice President for Scientific, Technological and Knowledge-Based Economy Affairs announced that Iranian medical equipment is now exported to more than 60 countries worldwide, attributing this achievement to the trust of Iranian physicians and the ongoing innovation of knowledge-based companies.

He emphasized that the strong presence of domestic manufacturers at the Iran Health Exhibition is clear evidence of national capabilities in the health sector. He noted that the adoption of locally produced equipment by top Iranian physicians demonstrates the high quality, safety, and precision of these products, encouraging further expansion into global markets.

Highlighting the importance of continuous innovation, the Vice President stated that only companies investing in research, development, and technology upgrades will remain competitive internationally. He also announced the implementation of two major government support schemes to facilitate research and development for companies aiming to enhance their products.

The Vice President stressed that simply meeting standards is not enough; the public now expects the next generation of medical equipment with superior quality, and the government is prepared to invest in advancing these technologies.

The 26th Iran Health Exhibition, featuring 580 domestic and international companies, 45 specialized sessions, and an exclusive pavilion for returning Iranian experts, is being held at the Tehran International Exhibition Center from June 8 to 11, 2025.
