June 10, 2025 – Ali Razouqi, Senior Advisor and Deputy Chief of Staff to the Prime Minister of Iraq, expressed admiration for Iran’s progress in medical equipment during his visit to the 26th Iran Health Exhibition. Razouqi noted that there is significant potential in the Iraqi market for Iranian innovations and stressed the urgent need to equip Iraqi hospitals with advanced medical technologies developed in Iran.

He emphasized Iraq’s interest in hosting an event similar to the Iran Health Exhibition in Baghdad to further strengthen bilateral cooperation. Razouqi highlighted Iraq’s eagerness to benefit from Iranian expertise and access high-tech medical solutions, stating that many Iraqi companies and hospitals are actively seeking to procure advanced Iranian devices.

Razouqi also pointed out that the strong neighborly relations between Iran and Iraq create an ideal environment for the entry of Iranian medical equipment into the Iraqi market. During his tour of Hall 38 at the Iran Health Exhibition, the Iraqi delegation was introduced to the latest products from participating Iranian companies, underlining the expanding opportunities for collaboration between the two countries in the health and technology sectors.
