June 8, 2025 – The manager of the Connect platform announced the identification of around 150 Small & medium-sized knowledge-based companies (SMEs) in the fields of health, medical equipment, and genetics, all established by Iranians residing abroad. Over the past decade, the Connect platform has aimed to link Iranian specialists, entrepreneurs, and researchers overseas with Iran’s Innovation Ecosystem, focusing particularly on leveraging their expertise for industrial and technological advancement.

According to the platform’s evaluations, about 150 knowledge-based companies in the areas of health, medical equipment, and genetics have been founded by overseas Iranians. Following a public call and a multi-stage review process, 20 outstanding companies were selected to participate in the Exclusive Pavilion at the Iran Health Exhibition.

The manager expressed hope that these companies’ presence at the Iran Health Exhibition would strengthen the identity of the Connect platform and further empower the active role of Knowledge-Based Elites in Iran’s startup and technology ecosystem.
