Pardis Technology Park Plans for Health Technology and Artificial Intelligence Expansion

June 11, 2025 – The head of the Elite Technology Development Center at Pardis Technology Park (PTP) highlighted the pivotal role of health-oriented companies in Iran’s innovation ecosystem, calling the Iran Health Exhibition a prime opportunity to showcase the achievements of knowledge-based firms in this sector.
Within the Iran International Innovation District (IIID), Pardis Technology Park and the adjacent Health Technology Park together host around 500 technology companies, with nearly 30 percent active directly in the health sector—including pharmaceuticals, novel therapies, and advanced medical equipment. The Elite Technology Development Center at PTP currently incubates around 80 companies, a quarter of which are health-focused, many having brought unique medical devices to mass production.
This year, eight companies from the Elite Technology Development Center participated in the Iran Health Exhibition, presenting the latest products—some of which have achieved international certification and compete in global markets. Overall, more than 2,500 innovative products have been developed within Pardis Technology Park, nearly 30 percent in health, and about half of all park exports are medical or health-related, reaching numerous countries worldwide.
The IIID’s future strategy centers on six strategic technology domains, with a special emphasis on the convergence of artificial intelligence and health. Infrastructure is being developed to attract and support companies working at this intersection, aiming to establish a specialized base through investment, infrastructure, and networking.
Events like the Iran Health Exhibition are considered unique opportunities for investors and policymakers to engage directly with the latest ideas and products emerging from Iran’s knowledge-based youth. Stakeholders and investors are encouraged to visit and actively support this vibrant innovation ecosystem.
