June 10, 2025 – During his visit to Hall 38B of the Iran Health Exhibition, President Masoud Pezeshkian, accompanied by the Minister of Health, reviewed the latest achievements in the field of medical equipment. On the sidelines, he met with government officials and representatives of the Iranian Syndicate of Medical Equipment Exporter.

President Pezeshkian emphasized the government’s commitment to comprehensive support for the medical equipment industry, stating that strengthening domestic production not only enhances the healthcare infrastructure but also paves the way for expanding knowledge-based exports. He reaffirmed the government’s determination to remove obstacles facing local manufacturers, highlighting the need for close cooperation among the Ministry of Health, Ministry of Industry, Mine and Trade, and economic institutions.

The Minister of Health outlined the ministry’s key initiatives to support domestic producers, declaring that the development of local production, especially advanced medical equipment, is a top priority this year.

Representatives of the Iranian Syndicate of Medical Equipment Exporter discussed their concerns, capacities, and challenges in production and export, calling for streamlined processes, stable policies, and sustained government support.
