Reduced Foreign Currency Demand through Iranian Companies’ Presence at Iran Health Exhibition | Food and Drug Administration: Medical Community Should Trust Domestic Products

June 8, 2025 – The Head of the Food and Drug Administration highlighted the significant role of Iranian technology companies in meeting domestic needs, emphasizing that the strong presence of domestic manufacturers at the Iran Health Exhibition contributes to reducing the country’s reliance on foreign currency.
With more than 580 companies participating, the Iran Health Exhibition showcases innovative and knowledge-based products in medical equipment. The event provides an opportunity for Iranian companies to introduce their capabilities to the medical community and international traders, fostering both domestic development and export prospects to regional markets.
The exhibition also supports the national goal of promoting domestic capabilities, allowing manufacturers to present their strengths, understand competitors, and engage new business partners. This exposure helps medical professionals and stakeholders become familiar with the quality and standards of domestically produced products, which are manufactured under strict supervision. The medical community is encouraged to place their trust in these products.
The Head of the Food and Drug Administration emphasized the dynamism of participating companies, noting that the annual exhibition should reflect growth and progress in the medical equipment industry. He stated that products displayed this year are noticeably different from those of previous years, preparing companies for stronger competition and more effective participation in future events.
The 26th Iran Health Exhibition runs from June 8 to 11, 2025, at the Iran International Exhibition Center.
