Strategic Dialogue at Iran Health Exhibition: Senior Health Ministry Advisor Engages with Medical Technology Leaders

June 9, 2025 – On the second day of the Iran Health Exhibition, Dr. Ali Jafarian, Senior Advisor and Deputy to the Minister of Health, visited the event and met with heads of Pardis Technology Park (PTP) and the Medical Equipment Specialists Association of Iran. The discussions focused on fostering technology-driven cooperation and developing export-oriented strategies for Iran’s medical equipment industry.
During the visit, Dr. Jafarian reviewed the latest achievements and knowledge-based products in the medical technology sector. He held talks with Dr. Mehdi Saffari-Nia, President of Pardis Technology Park, Ahmad Moslemi, President of the Medical Equipment Specialists Association, and Mohammad Amin Khaleghian, Secretary of the 26th Iran Health Exhibition. Key topics included strengthening collaboration between health policymakers and the innovation ecosystem, supporting innovative companies, and building export infrastructure for medical technology products.
Khaleghian provided an update on the “Exclusive Pavilion for Iranian Knowledge-Based Elites Returning Home,” highlighting participation from 18 companies and expressing hope for increased involvement in future editions. Dr. Jafarian emphasized the importance of deeper engagement with technology elites, viewing this approach as essential for the commercialization of national innovations.
He noted the significant potential of knowledge-based companies in the health sector, stating, “Exhibitions like Iran Health are crucial for identifying domestic capabilities, building effective collaboration networks, and facilitating the commercialization of medical technologies at national and international levels.”
Dr. Jafarian’s strategic meetings with key players in the technology and medical equipment sectors reflect the Health Ministry’s commitment to aligning health policy with Iran’s scientific and technological capacity.
