This event highlighted the pivotal role of the Tehran Chamber in\nbridging the economy and healthcare sectors in Iran.<\/p><p style=\"margin:0in;text-align:justify\">Dr.\nNajafi Arab underscored the Chamber\u2019s longstanding history and well-structured\norganization, emphasizing its position as one of the oldest and most\ninfluential private sector institutions in the country. He described the\nChamber as the \u201cprivate sector parliament,\u201d directly engaging with all branches\nof government to resolve barriers and advance economic development,\nparticularly in the field of health.<\/p><p style=\"margin:0in;text-align:justify\">With\nTehran Province contributing 42% of the nation\u2019s GDP, Dr. Najafi Arab described\nits unique capacities in pharmaceuticals, medical equipment production, and\nknowledge-based companies. The Chamber currently operates 11 specialized\ncommissions, among which the Technology Commission and the Health Economy\nCommission are notable for addressing challenges and fostering collaboration in\nthese sectors.<\/p><p style=\"margin:0in;text-align:justify\">Drawing\non more than four decades of experience in pharmaceuticals, Dr. Najafi Arab\nhighlighted the Chamber\u2019s special support for producers, especially\nhealth-focused knowledge-based firms. He stated that the Chamber aims to build\nconsensus among health associations, facilitating progress by focusing on\nshared objectives and addressing regulatory and structural challenges.<\/p><p style=\"margin:0in;text-align:justify\">Dr.\nNajafi Arab also advocated for the role of independent and modern media in\nincreasing transparency, giving voice to the private sector, and enhancing\ncompetitiveness in health services.
