June 11, 2025 \u2013 The Iran Health Exhibition, recognized as the country\u2019s\nlargest specialized event for healthcare and medical equipment, took place in\nTehran from June 8 to 11, 2025. This year\u2019s edition was marked by extraordinary\nscale and a strong presence of leading political, scientific, and international\nfigures, who visited exhibition booths to directly engage with the sector\u2019s\ncapabilities, achievements, and needs.<\/span><\/p>

From top executive officials to ambassadors from Asia, Africa, and\nEurope, the exhibition served as a hub for health diplomacy, technological\ncooperation, and the identification of investment opportunities. The most\nnotable visit occurred on the opening day, when the President of Iran,\naccompanied by the Minister of Health and the Vice Presidency for Scientific,\nTechnological and Knowledge-Based Economy Affairs, toured various pavilions,\nfocusing particularly on medical innovation and knowledge-based companies. The\nPresident emphasized that the development of domestic healthcare technologies\nis essential to national independence and public welfare, drawing significant\nmedia attention and inspiring industry stakeholders.<\/span><\/p>

The Vice Presidency for Scientific, Technological and Knowledge-Based\nEconomy Affairs conducted an in-depth tour of startup and knowledge-based\ncompany sections, highlighting the need to strengthen commercialization chains\nand promising increased support for export development. Key challenges\ndiscussed included regulatory processes, access to raw materials, and\ninternational market entry.<\/span><\/p>

The Minister of Health and their delegation spent several hours reviewing\nhospital, imaging, pharmaceutical, and traditional medicine booths. The\nMinister stressed the importance of improving the quality of domestically\nproduced equipment and standardizing services, stating that Iran Health\nExhibition is a unique opportunity for synergy among producers, consumers, and\npolicymakers.<\/span><\/p>

Economic leaders, including the President of the Tehran Chamber of\nCommerce, focused on export-oriented booths and emphasized expanding target\nmarkets and leveraging economic diplomacy. There is renewed hope that the\nhealth industry will gain a larger share of Iran\u2019s non-oil exports.<\/span><\/p>

International engagement was a highlight, with the Iraqi Prime Minister\u2019s\ndelegation expressing strong interest in sourcing Iranian medical equipment for\nIraq\u2019s healthcare sector. Initial agreements were reached for new contracts.\nAmbassadors from Vietnam, South Korea, and Sudan explored cooperation in\ntechnology transfer, equipment procurement, and joint investment, while the\nVietnamese ambassador announced readiness for joint health exhibitions.\nDelegates from Bolivia, Afghanistan, Hungary, Poland, Indonesia, and the UAE\nalso attended, opening new avenues for technical and commercial negotiations.<\/span><\/p>

Notably, international visitors focused on booths featuring advanced\ninnovations such as medical 3D printing, artificial intelligence in healthcare,\ntelemedicine systems, and biopharmaceuticals\u2014demonstrating Iran\u2019s emergence as\na serious player in global health through investment in indigenous knowledge.<\/span><\/p>
