The initiative, led by the\nMedical Equipment Specialists Association, is designed to move beyond base wage\ncontracts and recognize technical expertise through a structured ranking\nprocess<span dir=\"RTL\"><\/span><span dir=\"RTL\"><\/span><span lang=\"AR-SA\" dir=\"RTL\"><span dir=\"RTL\"><\/span><span dir=\"RTL\"><\/span>.<\/span><\/span><\/p><p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin-bottom:0in;text-align:justify;line-height:normal\"><span style=\",serif\">Under this new framework, technical supervisors are categorized across\neight professional groups, including domestic and international trade,\ntechnical product management, after-sales engineering, design and production,\nmanagement and oversight, clinical biomedical engineering, and education and\nresearch. The ranking system features five levels, from \u201cExpert\u201d (requiring <span dir=\"RTL\"><\/span><span dir=\"RTL\"><\/span><span lang=\"AR-SA\" dir=\"RTL\"><span dir=\"RTL\"><\/span><span dir=\"RTL\"><\/span>70 <\/span>out of <span dir=\"RTL\"><\/span><span dir=\"RTL\"><\/span><span lang=\"AR-SA\" dir=\"RTL\"><span dir=\"RTL\"><\/span><span dir=\"RTL\"><\/span>100 <\/span>points)\nto entry-level, with a mix of permanent and renewable certifications<span dir=\"RTL\"><\/span><span dir=\"RTL\"><\/span><span lang=\"AR-SA\" dir=\"RTL\"><span dir=\"RTL\"><\/span><span dir=\"RTL\"><\/span>.<\/span><\/span><\/p><p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin-bottom:0in;text-align:justify;line-height:normal\"><span style=\",serif\">Evaluation criteria include educational attainment, work experience\n(weighted most heavily), patents, publications, university teaching, management\nroles, and specialized certifications. The process allows candidates to present\ntheir documentation for review by the association\u2019s ranking committee<span dir=\"RTL\"><\/span><span dir=\"RTL\"><\/span><span lang=\"AR-SA\" dir=\"RTL\"><span dir=\"RTL\"><\/span><span dir=\"RTL\"><\/span>.<\/span><\/span><\/p><p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin-bottom:0in;text-align:justify;line-height:normal\"><span style=\",serif\">Notably, the system introduces a contractual supplement: technical\nsupervisors will receive, in addition to the base wage, a \u201ctechnical\nsupervisor\u2019s allowance\u201d calculated according to their rank, employer sector\n(manufacturing, import, hospital, or retail), product risk classification,\nand\u2014for clinical roles\u2014the size of the healthcare facility. The association\nwill act as a third-party witness in these contracts, ensuring transparency and\nenforceability<span dir=\"RTL\"><\/span><span dir=\"RTL\"><\/span><span lang=\"AR-SA\" dir=\"RTL\"><span dir=\"RTL\"><\/span><span dir=\"RTL\"><\/span>.<\/span><\/span><\/p><p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin-bottom:0in;text-align:justify;line-height:normal\"><span style=\",serif\">The initiative also includes regular refresher courses, with ranking\ntopics integrated into the curriculum.
