Organized by the\nIranian Syndicate of Medical Equipment Exporter and Method Company, the event\nbrought together leading researchers, innovators, and industry stakeholders.<\/span><\/p><p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin-bottom:0in;margin-bottom:.0001pt;text-align:justify;line-height:normal\"><span style=\",serif\">In the first session, four assistive\ntechnologies for the elderly were presented by research centers and companies,\ncovering topics such as:<\/span><\/p><ul style=\"margin-top:0in\" type=\"disc\">\n <li class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin-bottom:0in;margin-bottom:.0001pt;text-align:     justify;line-height:normal\"><span style=\",serif\">The future of digital health (Dr.\n     Sudeh Razaghi, Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences),<\/span><\/li>\n <li class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin-bottom:0in;margin-bottom:.0001pt;text-align:     justify;line-height:normal\"><span style=\",serif\">The Integrum Hand System (Dr.\n     Nafiseh Jirfti, Research Laboratory of Bone and Joint, Mashhad University\n     of Medical Sciences),<\/span><\/li>\n <li class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin-bottom:0in;margin-bottom:.0001pt;text-align:     justify;line-height:normal\"><span style=\",serif\">Cognitive technologies for the\n     elderly (Dr. Hojjat Shojaei),<\/span><\/li>\n <li class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin-bottom:0in;margin-bottom:.0001pt;text-align:     justify;line-height:normal\"><span style=\",serif\">Assistive technologies for aging\n     (Engineer Mostafa Allami, Research Institute of Engineering and Medical\n     Sciences for Veterans).<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul><p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin-bottom:0in;margin-bottom:.0001pt;text-align:justify;line-height:normal\"><span style=\",serif\">The second session focused on new\ntechnologies for empowerment, featuring:<\/span><\/p><ul style=\"margin-top:0in\" type=\"disc\">\n <li class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin-bottom:0in;margin-bottom:.0001pt;text-align:     justify;line-height:normal\"><span style=\",serif\">Remote health monitoring for\n     veterans (Doramod Company),<\/span><\/li>\n <li class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin-bottom:0in;margin-bottom:.0001pt;text-align:     justify;line-height:normal\"><span style=\",serif\">Rehabilitation robots (Pedasis Company),<\/span><\/li>\n <li class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin-bottom:0in;margin-bottom:.0001pt;text-align:     justify;line-height:normal\"><span style=\",serif\">Smart prosthetics,<\/span><\/li>\n <li class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin-bottom:0in;margin-bottom:.0001pt;text-align:     justify;line-height:normal\"><span style=\",serif\">The future of assistive\n     technologies (Research Institute of Engineering and Medical Sciences).<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul><p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin-bottom:0in;margin-bottom:.0001pt;text-align:justify;line-height:normal\"><span style=\",serif\">Participants were introduced to the\nlatest innovations in medical and rehabilitation equipment, exploring novel\nsolutions to improve the quality of life for the target groups.<\/span><\/p><p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin-bottom:0in;margin-bottom:.0001pt;text-align:justify;line-height:normal\"><span style=\",serif\">Dr. Noushin Pourbagheri, Head of the\nScientific-Research Committee of the Iranian Syndicate of Medical Equipment\nExporter, highlighted that the \u201cLife Reinvention\u201d event serves as a platform\nfor synergy, collaboration, and the development of scientific and practical\npartnerships in rehabilitation technology. She emphasized that leveraging\nmodern technologies can significantly empower veterans and people with\ndisabilities, greatly enhancing their independence and quality of life.<\/span><\/p><p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin-bottom:0in;margin-bottom:.0001pt;text-align:justify;line-height:normal\"><span style=\",serif\">Javad Minooifar, CEO of Method\nCompany, pointed out ongoing projects in mobility, hearing conditioning, and\ncognitive technologies, stressing the company\u2019s commitment to identifying and\nlocalizing new global technologies for the benefit of the target community. He\nunderlined the importance of supporting domestic products, noting the strong\nbut still under-recognized knowledge-based companies in this sector.
